E.F.W.: Romanian Oi!/ska/punk/NYHC apolitical magazine for all the skins, punks, rude boys/girls, mods and hardcore kids to enjoy!
Most of the magazine is in English, except for a few pages...

E.F.W.: When Did The Fanzine Start and How Many Issues You Done?

Cristina: Cezar and Lăbuş started to work on the debut issue back in early 2006, but it was only one year later they managed to release the zine. With Cristina joining the crew and also the help of some local and foreign friends, the second issue came out quicker in autumn 2007. We're currently working on the 3rd issue which will heopefully be out by the end of the year. We almost killed the zine because of personal problems lately, we couldn't be full time journalists anymore hahaha so that's why we had to delay the new masterpiece, but now everything seems to get back on track.


E.F.W.: How many copies of each issue do you produce and how often do they come out?

Cezar: The first issue had 500 copies, while numbers doubled with the second. We'll prolly keep it the same for the third. They come out whenever we pay all the bills so that we can afford to contribute to the scene, as they say hehe. We keep interviewing bands during all this time, so that we have enough material for a complete issue, and print it when we get the money. Otherwise, I'm afraid when we got it, we'd drink it all :P


E.F.W.: Can You Tell Us Why the fanzine Called "No Bollox Just Oi!"?


Cezar: I think the name says it all! We're not into politics! And besides, Cristina has no bollox, she's a byrd :))

E.F.W.: Why did you start the fanzine?

Cezar: Mostly for the fun of it. Also we wanted to promote the bands we like, and ask them stuff we didn't find in other zines. And put our own pics in and show off hahaha

E.F.W.:Do you do all the work on your own?

Cezar: We always get a lil bit of help from other people too, they're mentioned in our thanx list every issue. A big thank you to Tom on myspace. NOT!!! hehehe

E.F.W.: What made you start it?

Cezar: Isn't this the same with the 4th question? We started it because we wanted to become superstars and get to give interviews abd bullshit people all over the world. Oh, looksy, we made it to Qatar! hehehe

E.F.W.: Have you always bought or trade a fanzines, what ones were your favorites?

Cezar: I think fanzines are great, be it a photocopy or a pro-printed one. It's nice to know people can have their say without having to deal with the mainstream or any censorship whatsoever. One of my favourite zines is "Oi! Warning", there are always good bands new to me which I find about in that zine. Hmm I wish I had Sean's record collection hahaha

E.F.W.: How easy is it to get bands to meet and talk with you?

Cezar: I've never done a face to face interview. I'll prolly get too drunk before finishing the interview, if I do it live. I usually use e-mail or msn.

E.F.W.: Who were the best people to interview? Give Us Your Favorite Band In All Time?

Cezar: I can tell you the easiest one to interview was Vlad from local band Scandal, because we did it in our own language haha

E.F.W.: Do you have any plans in the future?

Cezar: Yeah, be the first on the will of some very rich long lost uncle or aunt of mine, what else?
